In 1984, Mr. Aguirrebarrena started as a glass eel fisherman, after a few years, in 1993 he then decided to build his own family company. Today, he still runs the Aguirrebarrena group that mainly specializes on migratory wild fish, origin France.

As a fishmonger, wild eel (Anguilla anguilla) is our flagship product with availability (130T) almost all year round. We are also one of the European leaders for catching, distributing and restocking of its fry: the Civelle or ‘Pibale’ (10T). Lampreys, allis shads, wild salmon,shrimps as well as other products from our french estuaries and rivers are also available according to the season.
